Rap Lyrics Degrading Women?
Many people online believe that in several rap songs, the lyrics are inappropriate towards women. The music may have a good beat and flow, but people find them "disgusting and degrading". A lot of the lyrics are about prostitutes and having sex. Many think this results in people thinking it is okay to sexually harass women. What are all of your opinions on this? Are the lyrics okay in songs? Are they wrong?

in rap music or any music in general, they do degreade agaisnt women sometimes, but it is also against the general public it seems,an yet in todays society music is a large part of peoples life. as to are tehy wrong, i don't believe so because they are just words put togther in a rymhe by industry , rather than them write it all ont here on. like i said there just words it depends on how you take them, also i like your blog alot very well put togther an intresting choice in topic

ReplyDeleteMost music of the 70s and to now are nothing but sex and drugs the only thing I have to say is that it is there choice, not like they are forced to dance half naked.
ReplyDeleteI agree that not everyone has to listen to it. It's the person's choice and if they don't enjoy it than they shouldn't listen to it.
